Scholarships for 2011-2012
The Schoolcraft College Transition Center offers funding for students to assist with educational expenses.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be submitted and complete at the Schoolcraft College Office of Financial Aid before consideration of Transition Center funding.

*Applications received after the priority deadline dates may be reviewed and awards made on an ongoing basis, based on a first-come-first-served system.
Application Packets must include the following:
- Application Form
- Financial Aid Award/Denial Letter *
- Completed Registration Worksheet.
Scholarships are not automatically renewed. A new Transition Center application form must be submitted each academic year, which begins with the summer semester. Students who have already completed the application for the current school year, and wish to request renewal of their scholarship funding, must complete a Request to Continue Funding form. A copy of the most current financial aid award/denial letter and a completed registration worksheet must accompany each Transition Center Application form and/or Request to Continue Funding form.
Financial Aid award letters can be found on WebAdvisor, in the student menu, under Financial Aid. Denial letters are typically mailed to students by U.S. Mail or Email.
* If a denial letter is not available, please submit a copy of your "Financial Aid Status by Term" from WebAdvisor, indicating "Not Grant Eligible" for the term you are requesting assistance.
Child Care Assistance may be available for eligible students while taking classes on-campus at any Schoolcraft College campus. Enrollment in Online and OE/OE classes is not considered eligible for child care assistance. Dependent children must be enrolled in a licensed day care center, of your choosing, in order to be considered.
