Opportunities in aviation management are expanding but so is the competition. The best jobs go to people with the right combination of experience and education. Typically, those with a college background earn higher pay and have more opportunities to advance.
The Aviation Management online program at Schoolcraft College provides a broad perspective of aviation businesses, operations, airports, regulations, and a basic aircraft/flight overview with a blend of academic classes in aviation, business, and management. This combination of courses prepares graduates for aviation careers and management positions at airports, airlines, corporate charter and cargo operations, aircraft maintenance facilities, and federal government aviation agencies. This program offers aviation professionals such as flight crew members, air traffic controllers, flight dispatchers, maintenance technicians, and airport and airline personnel the opportunity to significantly enhance their knowledge of the aviation community and aerospace industry and help them to pursue exciting and more challenging careers.
Schoolcraft College offers both a skills certificate and an associate degree for this program.
