Schoolcraft faces Oakland in district title game

FLINT -- The Schoolcraft College women's basketball team's quest for a return trip to the national tournament begins here Friday (March 4).

The Ocelots, ranked #5 in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II poll, face Oakland Community College in the semifinal round of the NJCAA District H Tournament. The raiders advanced to the title game by defeating Macomb Community College; Schoolcraft had a first-round bye. The winner advances to Saturday's title game at 1 p.m. against the winner of the St. Clair County Community College - Delta College game.

The District H tournament is being played at Mott Community College; the winner advances to the national tournament March 14-17 in Peoria, IL.
