The vaccinations are available free of charge. Supplies of the vaccine are limited; only those who live in Wayne County and who meet the following criteria are eligible to receive the vaccine at this clinic: Pregnant women; individuals ages 6 months to 24 years; individuals who live with or care for infants age 6 months and younger; health care workers and emergency responders; and individuals ages 25 to 64 with underlying medical conditions.

Other options for obtaining the vaccine

The County has also informed the college that some area private healthcare providers (physicians, clinics, pharmacies, etc.) are still offering the seasonal flu vaccine, based on availability.

The college continues to pursue the possibility of making flu shots available for students and staff. However due to the limited supply of both vaccines, a date has not yet been secured.
