On Friday, March 20 the Avalon String Quartet will perform once again as part of the Friday Evening Recital Series. The performance will begin at 8 p.m. with a reception immediately following. The concert will be held in the Presentation Room in the VisTaTech Center. Tickets are $20 per person, $10 for students.
The Avalon String Quartet is a perennial favorite at Schoolcraft College. Established in 1995 and regarded as “one of the most exciting young string quartets in America” by the Washington Post, the quartet has established itself as one of the country’s leading chamber ensembles and earned international acclaim for the bold musicality and passionate intensity of its performances.
