Free Cyber Safety Seminar for Parents & Caregivers

Schoolcraft College’s Continuing Education and Professional Development in partnership with the Michigan Department of Attorney General will host a Michigan Cyber Safety seminar on Wednesday, December 5 from 12pm-1pm in the VisTaTech Conference Center on the Livonia campus, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads. The seminar is free and open to the public.

Parents and caregivers will gain a comprehensive understanding of the dangers that exist on the Internet and how to steer children clear of these threats. The Michigan Cyber Safety Initiative (Michigan CSI) is an Internet safety education program administered through the Michigan Attorney General’s office. Representatives from Michigan CSI will discuss topics including online predators, cyber bullying, and tools to employ in the home to protect children when they are using the internet.
