Varied Works Highlight Schoolcraft’s Collage Concert

A rich and eclectic program awaits music lovers at the Collage Concert, Schoolcraft College’s annual collaboration musical genres, on Saturday, April 14. Composers range from Richard Strauss and J.S. Bach to Pat Metheny, Dizzy Gillespie and Dmitri Shostakovich, with traditional spirituals and folksongs included.

Chef Competition Coming to Schoolcraft

Cooking With the Stars? American Chef Idol? The Amazing Chef Race? Not quite, but Schoolcraft College will host a live chef challenge Saturday, April 21 beginning at 7 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center. Even better, proceeds will benefit the Michigan Humanities Council. The council is a nonprofit organization that supports and creates quality cultural programs.
