On Friday, May 9, pianist Angela Cheng will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Presentation Room of the VisTaTech Center of Schoolcraft College. Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased by calling ext. 4403. 

   Consistently cited for her brilliant technique, tonal beauty and superb musicianship, Angela Cheng is one of Canada’s brightest stars. She appears regularly in recital series throughout the United States and Canada, has collaborated with numerous chamber ensembles and participates in a variety of festivals, which often garner her many awards. 
   Her passion for music is evident in all her performances. “The privilege of performing has always been one of the true joys of my life. I feel that this glorious music lifts the human spirit, nourishes our souls and transforms our existence. It is my passion to share with you this incredible beauty,” says Cheng.
   She will be performing selections from Haydn, Beethoven, Schumann, Schubert and Alexina Louie. In addition to a beautiful and unique musical experience, a reception will follow the concert.
