Parents can learn more about Schoolcraft's Children's Center during Full-Day Kindergarten Open House Wed., Mar. 6

On Wed., Mar. 6, 2013, Schoolcraft College's Children’s Center will host an Open House for its Full-Day Kindergarten Program from 7 - 9 p.m. The Children's Center is the college's onsite child care facility that is open to the public. It is located on the college’s main campus in Livonia on Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads.

Parents with children ready to enter kindergarten will have the opportunity to learn about the center’s outstanding full-day program, tour the facility, meet the staff,  and register their children for the coming school year. Information about the center’s infant, toddler and preschool programs will also be available.

The Children’s Center at Schoolcraft is one of only five day care centers in the state of Michigan that is accredited by the National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The Children’s Center is staffed by college faculty, trained teachers and licensed professionals as well as students who are enrolled in Schoolcraft College’s Child Care Development curriculum. The center is open Mon.- Fri., 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and provides care for children six-weeks-old through kindergarten. For more information call 734-446-4442.
