The experts at Botsford Commons Senior Community present Aging and Living a Greater Fullness of Life on September 28

Aging and Living a Greater Fullness of Life will be the subject of the next Transition Center Luncheon Series on Friday, September 28, 2012. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., followed by an information presentation by the experts at Botsford Commons Senior Community. The event will be held in the VisTaTech Center on Schoolcraft College's main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads.
The common stereotypes of aging are dismissed in this powerful and insightful discussion. Margaret Lightner, President and CEO, leads a panel of experts discussing ways to empower seniors to live their lives passionately and independently for as  long as possible.
Geriatric physician Dr. Annette Caron will share ideas for maintaining stability, mental health as well as managing changing health. Dr. Richard Young will present his research on aging and fitness to drive. Diane Zide will provide simple exercises and habits for maintaining brain health, at any age.
The discussion will be rounded out with Dawn Doyle’s tips for getting important documents in order for a greater peace of mind.
