Radcliff Center grows under Pearce

Associate Dean of College Centers Robert Pearce has watched the Radcliff Center grow since taking over in 1997. Pearce came to Schoolcraft after a 26-year career with the Detroit Police Department. His experience as an adjunct teacher at Wayne State University and Monroe Community College created the perfect blend for his current position.

The Radcliff Center houses the Public Safety and Allied Health programs. They include the Police and Fire Academy; the Emergency Medical Technology program; and the certificate and associate degree programs in Health Information Technology and in Medical Assisting.

With Pearce at the helm, Radcliff has added massage therapy, aviation management and homeland security programs. Enrollment has continued to grow each year, both in the career-specific programs and in the general education offerings. Students can fulfill their general education requirements at Radcliff.
