On Saturday, May 16, the Music Department of Schoolcraft College will host an Open House  spotlighting piano programs for children. The Open House will run from 1 - 4 p.m. in the Forum Building located on the college's main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads.

The college offers two programs for children in the first through twelfth grades. The Piano Academy is a comprehensive program of group and private lessons for children for beginners through advanced levels of play. The Summer Piano School is created for those at the intermediate and advanced levels of play and features the opportunity for students to perform solo piano, piano duets, concertos and chamber music.

The Open House is a great opportunity for students and parents to meet the first-rate instructors, observe lessons, hear several current students perform short recitals and discover all the musical possibilities the college has to offer.
