Come on out and support the Ocelots during Spirit Night Nov. 28

The Student Activities Office and the Athletics Department of Schoolcraft College will be sponsoring a very special Spirit Night on Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Both the Men’s and Women’s basketball teams will take on Kellogg Community College in an action-packed doubleheader in the Physical Education Building on the college’s main campus in Livonia.

The women will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. coached by special guest coach Patricia Donohue-Ebach, manager of the new Schoolcraft College Fitness Center. Mark Papineau, coordinator of Physical Education Building services, will serve as guest coach for the men who will play at 7:30 p.m.

In addition to the exciting basketball matchups, Ocelot fans in attendance will enjoy music by DJ Jason George of United Productions, half-time performances by the college’s Dance Team and the Beat Boys Break Dance Team, and a number of other surprises. Popcorn will be sold for 50 cents and fans will receive free Fuze drinks during the game. Admission is only $5.00 and special commemorative t-shirts will also be available for an additional $5.00. The first 100 fans to pay admission and buy a t-shirt will receive two free tickets to Phoenix Theatres at Laurel Park Place. All proceeds for Spirit Night activities will benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit.

For those unable to attend the games in person, they will be broadcast live on Bright House Network’s Channel 13 in Livonia, by Schoolcraft College Media Services Department and members of the college’s Video Production Club.
