High school students are invited to Career Open House on April 18

On Wednesday, April 18, 2012,  Schoolcraft College is hosting a Career Open House for high school students. From 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. guests can visit with professionals in dozens of career fields and learn how high school and college classes relate to to real jobs.

Representatives from more than 30 different career fields and professions will be on hand. The Open House is a great opportunity for students to explore career options in the arts and communication; health sciences; engineering, manufacturing and industrial technology; human services; natural resources and agriscience; and business, management and technology. Professionals will share their education and work experiences with students, many of whom are making critical decisions about their high school, college and professional future.

The Career Open House will be held in the VisTaTech Center on the college's main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads. Sponsored by the Livonia Public Schools, Northville Public Schools and Plymouth-Canton Schools, and hosted by Schoolcraft College, the Career Open House is free and open to the public.
