Kids on Campus hosts Open House April 15
On Wednesday, April 15th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the Schoolcraft College Continuing Education department will host an Open House for its Kids on campus summer camp program. This is the 30th year of the Kids on Campus program and this year will include some exciting new offerings for children entering the first through twelfth grades in the fall.
Kids on Campus celebrates 30th Anniversary; register now for a summer of fun
Registration is going on now for Kids on Campus programs that begin July 13. Kids on Campus 2009 will feature a ‘summer camp’ format where each session will consist of an exciting week-long program centered on a particular subject. Sessions are offered for three weeks in July.
Art Department Open House & Student Art Show April 8
Schoolcraft College's Art Department will host its annual Open House featuring student artwork created this academic year. The event will be held Wednesday, April 8, 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the Forum Building. The event is free and open to the public.
Schoolcraft hosting Career Fair for high school students April 21
Area high school students are invited to participate in a night of career exploration at Schoolcraft College on Tuesday, April 21. The High School Career Fair will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center located on Schoolcraft’s main campus in Livonia.
Schoolcraft celebrates Earth Day on April 22
The public is welcome to join faculty, staff and students in a variety of activities in celebration of Earth Day on Wednesday, April 22. The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. on the colleges main campus in Livonia and run throughout the day.
Free concert features Jazz and Synthesizer Ensembles on April 27
On Monday, April 27, Schoolcraft College will host a free concert featuring the college’s renowned Jazz and Synthesizer Ensembles. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in the VisTaTech Center.
Cellist Robert deMaine and pianist Pauline Martin to perform May 15
On May 15 Schoolcraft College will host the final concert for the 2008-09 Friday Evening Concert Series with a wonderful performance by Robert de Maine, principal cellist of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by pianist Pauline Martin. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and will be available at the door.

Art exhibit features faculty member's photos and paintings
Dr. Virinder Chaudhery, part-time faculty member of Schoolcraft College's Humanities Department, will have his artwork on display in the Bradner Library through April 3. The exhibit is a part of the college's Focus: South Asia series.
Schoolcraft students produce award winning videos
Three individuals and one team of students were winners in the Global Roundtables:2009 Student YouTube Competition.

Schoolcraft College Continuing Education and Professional Department will once again host a Career Programs Open House on Monday, April 20th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the VisTaTech Center on the main campus in Livonia. The event is open to the general public and will introduce interested individuals to the varied educational career programs offered at the college.
