The resources of Latino Legacy Project come to Schoolcraft in November
The Student Activities Office and the college's International Institute's Focus Series are sponsoring three events in November focusing on Latino culture and economic impact on the United States.
Tickets still available for Moliere's "The Doctor in Spite of Himself"
There are still tickets available for The Schoolcraft College Theatre Department’s fall production The Doctor in Spite of Himself. The final performances will be Friday, November 9 and Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 8 p.m. in the Liberal Arts Theatre on the college’s main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads. Tickets are only $12 and can be purchased by calling 734-462-4596 or in person at the Bookstore on campus.
Pianist Douglas Humpherys performs Nov. 7
Painist Douglas Humpherys will perform a free concert at noon on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, in the VisTaTech Center on Schoolcraft College's main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads.
Empty Bowl Project sale and luncheon is December 4
The annual Empty Bowl Project sale and luncheon will be held on Tuesday, December 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Bowls and other ceramic pieces created by students will be available to purchase, ranging from $10-35, and include a bowl of soup, a piece of bread and a glass of water. Proceeds benefit the college's Student Food Pantry.
Come on out and support the Ocelots during Spirit Night Nov. 28
The annual Spirit Night doubleheader basketball games will be played November 28 in the PE Building on the college's main campus in Livonia. The women will play at 5:30 p.m. and the men tip-off at 7:30 p.m. Admission is only $5.00 and special Spirit Night t-shirts will be available for $5.00. There are lots of other fun activities happening throughout the evening. All proceeds benefit the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit.
Wind Ensemble and Choral Union present Sounds of the Season on Nov. 30
Schoolcraft College's Wind Ensemble and Choral Union groups will perform a free concert, Sounds of the Season, on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center.

Local author will be discussing his book on campus November 12
On Monday, November 12 John L. Titus will be at Schoolcraft College to discuss his book, Losing Alicia: A Father’s Journey after 9/11. This special Meet the Author event will begin at 1:15 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center on the college’s main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads. The conversation and book signing are free and open to the public.
Popular Motor City Brass Quintet will perform free concert Dec. 5
On Wednesday, December 5 the Motor City Brass Quintet will make an encore performance at Schoolcraft College as part of the Noon Music Concert Series. During this special performance the group will perform a variety of holiday and seasonal inspired favorites at noon at the VisTaTech Center on the college's main campus, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads. The concert is free and open to the public.

Internationally renowned cellist to perform Dec. 7
On Friday, December 7, 2012, cellist Suren Bagratuni will perform as part of the Friday Evening Recital Series at Schoolcraft College. The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center on the college's main campus in Livonia. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $10 for students with identification.

Schoolcraft College will host a seminar about media and film careers on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at 3 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center on the college's main campus on Haggerty Road, between Six and Seven Mile Roads, in Livonia. Admission is free and open to the public.
Fast Track Fridays streamline the enrollment process for new students
On November 30 and December 7 Schoolcraft College is offering Fast Track Fridays as a way for new students to accomplish several steps in the enrollment process in only one visit to campus. Students can take advantage of this streamlined process from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the McDowell Center
Decorating Ideas for the Holidays is topic of lunch discussion Dec. 7
Interior decorating experts Christopher Gregorich and Joseph Martinez will share their decorating ideas for the holidays on Friday, December 7, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. as part of the Transition Center's luncheon series. Tickets are $20 per person and include lunch. Reservations must be made in advance by Friday, November 30.
