Focus: Africa invites a deeper understanding of a complex and beautiful continent
Africa is a land of many faces and diverse environments. Nearly one billion people and a stunning array of wildlife coexist on this enormous and complex piece of earth.
Visit the culinary arts Gingerbread Village in VisTaTech Nov. 27-Dec. 15.
An entire village made of gingerbread, candy and the imaginations of culinary arts students will be on display until December 15 in the lobby of the VisTaTech Center during regular business hours.
Avalon String Quartet featured in free noon concert
The Quartet performs Hayden and Debussy December 6.

Soccer, volleyball coaches named Coach of the Year
Schoolcraft College sports teams continued their winning ways this fall in men's soccer and women's volleyball. Men's soccer won the Michigan Community College Athletic Association state championship. Women's volleyball won the MCCAA state, conference and regional championships and finished third in the country.
