The Schoolcraft College International Film Festival presents Frida on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at noon in the Forum Building, Room 530 on the college's main campus in Livonia. The screening is free and open to the public.

Complete the Degree event October 18

On Thursday, October 18, students are encouraged to attend the second annual Complete the Degree Fair in Lower Waterman from 10 a.m - 2 p.m. Students will learn about the benefits of completing a degree and some of the resources available for achieving that goal. Representatives from 17 four-year universities will also be on hand.

October is Depression Awareness Month - Learn more Oct. 9

October is National Depression Month. The college's Counseling Department, SC Cares program, and Phi Theta Kappa are sponsoring a Depression Information Session on October 9 and Depression Awareness Screening on October 15.

Immigration and Caricature exhibit at Schoolcraft through October 24

Throughout the month of October Schoolcraft College's Student Activities Office is hosting a special exhibit, Immigration and Caricature: Ethnic Images from the Appel Collection. The exhibit is open from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday - Friday, in the lower level of the VisTaTech Center, through October 24, 2012.

Course section waitlisting featured in new videos

Two new videos inform students about the course section waitlist feature in WebAdvisor. The waitlist overview video is aimed at students using the waitlist feature for the first time. The waitlist changes video is for students who are experienced with waitlisting but need to be informed of changes to the process effective Winter 2013.
