On Saturday, January 23, from 9 a.m. to noon, Schoolcraft College will host Career Rejuvenation Seminars with Jay Block, a best-selling author, industry pioneer and leader and an award winning master career coach.  The cost is $39.  Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.

Winter Carnival Jan. 19-20 features a variety of fun activities for students

The Schoolcraft College Student Activities Office will host a Winter Carnival January 19-20 to welcome students back to campus after the winter break. Activities will be held in the Lower Waterman (inside VisTaTech) from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. There will be lots of food, fun, games, prizes and contests for everyone to enjoy.

Pageturners hosts discussions of "Born on a Blue Day," by Daniel Tammet, in January

Learn about the new Innovative Culinary Technology Certificate program Jan. 11

The Innovative Culinary Technology Certificate program is a three-course curriculum with an optional internship.  Interested candidates can attend an Open House Monday, January 11, 9 a.m. - noon, to tour the facilities and meet the instructors who will be able to answer questions and give an overview of the program.  The Open House will be held in the Culinary Arts Demonstration Lab in the VisTaTech Center.

Free Transition to College workshop series for adults begins Feb. 18

The Transition to College workshop series addresses the concerns and challenges adults face when considering a return to (or starting) college. The series of workshops focuses on relieving some of the anxiety that many adults see as an obstacle between themselves and a college education. The series of workshops is free. Class size is limited.
