8th graders invited to explore college options Feb. 5

Eighth graders and their parents can get an early start on preparing for college by attending Middle School College Night at Schoolcraft College. The event is Tuesday, Feb. 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the DiPonio Room of the VisTaTech Center of the college’s Livonia campus.

Omar Aragones - Inspiration Comes In Many Forms

When Omar Aragones’ dad received treatment for a stroke and back problems, his son received inspiration for his career path. “When I took my dad for therapy, the physical therapist at the clinic talked with me about his own experience. He said that I reminded him of himself when he was younger and that he thought I’d be a good physical therapist.”

Open Auditions for “Marat/Sade” Production

Auditions for the college’s winter production will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22 and Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. in the Liberal Arts Theatre. Auditions are open to everyone—students, faculty, staff and the general public. There are many speaking and non-speaking parts available.

Massage Therapy students offer massages

On most Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays students in the Massage Therapy Program at Schoolcraft College will be offering 15 and 30 minute chair massages and 30 or 60 minute table massages at the Radcliff Center in Garden City.
