Course Description
JavaScript is a powerful, object-based scripting language that can be embedded directly into HTML pages. JavaScript allows you to create dynamic, interactive Web-based applications that run completely within a Web browser. This course covers JavaScript as a client-side scripting language.

Course Competencies
Upon successful completion of the course, the student should be able to:
- Incorporate JavaScript into HTML.
- Examine variables, literals and expressions.
- Explore conditionals.
- Explore validating form data with JavaScript.
- Explain the use of functions.
- Explore objects, properties and methods.
- Manipulate data in arrays.
- Explore handling events in JavaScript.
- Examine debugging and error handling.
- Examine the use of JavaScript cookies.
