Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassador Program 2013-2014

Benefits of Being a Student Ambassador:

• Receive two $500 scholarships (one per semester for fall & winter)
• Gain great resume experience
• Build leadership skills
• Participate in social activities
• Receive opportunities to make new friends

Student Ambassador Application Requirements:

• Must have and maintain a minimum of a 3.0 or higher grade point average
• Must be regularly admitted student
• Must be registered for a minimum of 6 credit hours for both fall & winter semesters
• Must meet standard academic progress (Schoolcraft College Academic Progress Policy in the 2012-13 College Catalog, page 151)
• Must demonstrate excellent leadership
• Must exhibit strong communication skills

Student Ambassador commitments:

Student Ambassadors must complete at least 106 hours of service total or 53 hours per semester (fall/winter). There are a number of mandatory events that you must participate in as an ambassador. The remainder of your hours will be completed by choosing events that interest you.
