Guest Students

Guest students are those who wish to take classes at Schoolcraft College to transfer back to their home institutions. Guest applications must bear the home college's institutional seal and Registrar's signature designating the course(s) you plan to take at Schoolcraft College. If this doesn't describe you, select another category.

Guest students pay all tuition and fees, as applicable, and are not eligible for financial aid.

Note: A guest application is valid only in the semester for which it is authorized. You must submit a new guest application each semester you wish to attend Schoolcraft College. Spring/summer semesters are combined. Therefore, only one application is necessary for the spring/summer semester.

Note: The transferability of credits back to your home institution is not guaranteed.

Note: Students not submitting a Michigan Uniform Guest Application, or application for admission without an approval letter (Out of State Guest students only), may not be exempt from Schoolcraft College admission or enrollment requirements.

Follow these steps to successfully complete the enrollment process:
  1. Submit a completed Michigan Uniform Guest Application if your home institution is within the State of Michigan.

Out of State Guest students can fill out our traditional application for admission, but must provide a letter from their home institution indicating approval of guest status. The letter must bear the home college's institutional seal and Registrar's signature designating the course(s) you plan to take at Schoolcraft College.
  2. Register and pay in accordance with our payment policy. Students without access to a computer may use the ones available in the Admissions and Enrollment Center.
  3. After grades post request your official Schoolcraft College transcript be sent to the home institution. Official Transcripts may also be requested through WebAdvisor.
