Tickets are only $5.00 and all proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit. See two great basketball games and lots of other entertainment. The Women team tip off at 5:30 p.m. The Men take the court at 7:30 p.m. First 200 paid fans receive a free t-shirt. Go Ocelots!
Concert Dec. 3 will feature electronic music groups from U-M, WSU and Schoolcraft
Schoolcraft College will host an Electronic Music Summit on Thursday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. The event features three college ensembles that specialize in the growing genre of electronic music. U-M's Digital Music Ensemble and WSU's Electronic Music Ensemble will join with Schoolcraft College’s Synthesizer Ensemble for this unique opportunity for the community to experience this emerging form of musical expression. Admission is $5.00 per person.
Cellist Robert deMaine and pianist Pauline Martin in concert Dec. 4
Ccellist Robert deMaine and pianist Pauline Martin will perform on Friday, December 4 at 8 p.m. The concert will be held in the Presentation Room of the VisTaTech Center, located on the college’s main campus in Livonia, Tickets are $20 per person, $10 for students. Learn about Massage Therapy program and careers on December 7
On Monday, December 7, the Massage Therapy program at Schoolcraft College will host an orientation session from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Radcliff Center in Garden City. This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in a career in massage therapy to come and learn the requirements for earning a certificate or associate degree, as well as explore career opportunities in this rapidly growing healthcare field.
Schoolcraft College is participating in Pennies for Peace campaign through November
Students, faculty and staff of Schoolcraft College are participating in the Pennies for Peace Campaign throughout the Fall semester. Pennies for Peace is an international service-learning program through which organizations, predominately educational institutions, donate pennies to support community-based education and literacy programs in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
